About
Hello, I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Oregon and Colorado. I approach counseling with the understanding that all clients are doing the best they can with what they know. As an experienced therapist I explore with the client what is getting in the way of living a healthy and satisfying life. Together we determine the best direction counseling should go to reach their goals. I use an integrated psychotherapy approach that is tailored to work with the client’s strengths, personality, and abilities. My specialties are DBT skills training, Cognitive behavioral therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Mindful
I use a variety of evidence based therapeutic modalities, however, for counseling to truly be effective it is listening and learning from the client of what works for them. Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is a key component to achieving results with counseling.
