My clients have shared with me that I am amicable and non-judgmental, warm hearted with a sense of humor and play. Within this space, clients who are learning to live with problems like a change in life, addiction or trauma can explore their life experiences, learn to use their current strengths and add new skills to move towards their goal. It takes time and patience, honesty and courage, plus support to look at one's self and stick with new thoughts and behaviors.
I love what I do for a living. I enjoy my clients and celebrate their recovery. My clinical focus in the past few years has been solution focused, brief therapy with adults in crisis, but I have spent years working with children and adolescents in play and talk therapy. I trained as a Life Coach. More recently, I completed my certification in EMDR.
I work with people who are thinking about making changes in their lives so that they feel more purposeful, satisfied and peaceful with themselves. But change can be hard sometimes and having someone be open, honest and caring can make a tremendous difference in that process. Thank you.
