I enjoy getting to know clients, their strengths, and their experiences that have shaped them. We all come from different backgrounds, and I want to be a part of your process in healing. I help clients learn skills to help them cope with stressors and navigate interpersonal conflict. I also enjoy navigating the emotions both positive and uncomfortable that come with life. My goal is to help you create a life that is worth living even with painful experiences.
I have experience working in community mental health with children, families, and adults facing both mental health and substance use challenges. I have experience using therapeutic approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
My goal is to work collaboratively with you and challenge you to help you achieve the goals you are wanting for yourself. Life brings many challenges, and it can be extremely difficult to reach out. You don't have to go through it alone.
