I became a therapist because I genuinely care for people. My practice is centered around building relationships. I believe my greatest strength as a therapist is my life experience. I feel that it gives me a unique perspective that enables me to empathize with my clients. I believe that the most important things a client needs to know is that they are not alone; that there is hope and that they have everything they need inside of themselves to get better.

I believe that therapy should be more of a conversation than me “analyzing” clients. Therapy should be a safe space where one does not feel judged. A place where one feels validated but also challenged to reevaluate their thought processes and actions.

The most exciting thing about being a therapist is when a client finally has that “ahh ha!” moment. When they realize that they can overcome their issues with my help. When they realize that all is not lost and there is a way out. When they realize that they are on their way to living a happier, healthier more satisfying life.
