Life can feel overwhelming when you are juggling expectations, navigating change, or feeling unsure about your next steps. You might feel anxious, stuck, burned out, or disconnected, even when you are doing your best to keep things moving. I enjoy working with adults who want to slow things down, feel understood, and build changes collaboratively that feel doable. As a bilingual therapist in English and Spanish with Puerto Rican and Panamanian roots, I care about supporting Latino clients and anyone navigating identity, anxiety, and major life transitions. You already have strengths, and therapy can help you discover and use them.
I approach counseling from a person-centered lens, believing that warmth, authenticity, allow for a collaborative space. I also integrate cognitive-behavioral strategies to help challenge unhelpful thought patterns and develop skills that align with your goals. Sessions with me often involve reflection, shared curiosity, and a few laughs.
Therapy should feel like a place where you can breathe, be honest, and not feel judged. I listen closely and work to understand what you need. We'll move at your pace, and I'll offer gentle challenges when they can help you see things from a different perspective or build your skills.
