Thanks for stopping by! I'm a LPC-Associate supervised by Dr. Kendra McLaughlin, LPC-S. I specialize in working with teens and young adults, 12 - 25. I typically work with young people from Conroe, Magnolia, Montgomery, Woodforest and Willis. I find my work very rewarding and consider it a privilege to support others through life events, turbulent relationships, identity exploration, and mixed emotions. Many of my clients also seek help working through academic pressure, anger, anxiety, depression, body image challenges, self-harm, and substance use. The goal is simply to find a route to better, brighter and more manageable days.

I'm curious about relationship and thought patterns of clients, how they may reoccur, and why. I typically apply CBT, DBT, ACT and Family Systems tactics in sessions. I also offer trauma-informed horse-assisted therapy at Inspiration Ranch in Magnolia. I strive to relate to clients and offer a laid-back, comfortable approach encouraging all to be themselves.

I accept self-pay for sessions. "Talk therapy" appointments are $125/50 minutes. Credit card or cash payments are accepted. I will consider reduced rates based on financial constraints. Horse-assisted therapy sessions are $175/50 mins. though Inspiration Ranch offers financial assistance as well.

I often apply trauma-informed CBT, DBT, ACT and Family Systems into counseling sessions. Both, equine/horse-assisted therapy and "regular" therapy appointments focus heavily on exploring relationship patterns and uncovering why a dilemma initially developed. I'm not a huge fan of traditional talk therapy and prefer creatively incorporating a client's interests into sessions as best I can.
