Hello and welcome! My name is Lisa Williams. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in New Mexico. Everyone is different and has different needs at different times, so the type of therapy used is customized. My style is to understand you and what your going through, help you with self-understanding, and work together to make changes or add skills to meet your personal goals.
It can be so helpful to feel understood and to have someone on your side to help navigate any changes you want to make. Sometimes we can make big or small life changes. Sometimes we accept things as they are and find ways to still have the life we want. My style is to understand you and what your going through.
I encourage everyone to make goals at the beginning of our sessions. We also will want to keep an eye on some standardized questionnaires to make sure that what we are working on is helping you feel better.
