Hello, my name is Lisa Talley and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker residing in Atlanta, Ga. My approach to therapy is simple; I allow my clients to lead their care. You are the expert to you and what you need. I am here to guide you to your desired outcomes. I specialize in Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. I prefer to work with a young adult to adult clients who are finding life unmanageable. Clients who are experiencing life/crisis management, grief and loss, depression, and anxiety.
I allow my clients to be the experts as I assist with finding solutions and assisting you the experts with finding your blind spots to reaching your desired outcomes. I utilize a broad spectrum of theoretical approaches with the main approaches being Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and the Strengths Perspective Therapy.
I am driven by my ability to empathize, sympathize and relate to my clients. It is a calling. I did not choose to be a therapist, being a therapist chose me. I will create a space where I am warm and inviting. I like to build report with my clients where trust and empathy are apparent.
