I believe that given the right tools, we are all capable of attaining a comfortable level of happiness and fulfillment in life. My role is to help you acquire and sharpen those tools within the shortest possible time frame. I’m a Certified Gottman Couples Therapist, which means I have expertise in the most highly regarded and scientifically proven form of couples therapy. Gottman uses psychodynamic and research-based techniques to strengthen emotional closeness and intimacy, improve conflict management, and create a culture of mutual support. With Individuals I use only proven techniques, primarily IFS (Internal Family Systems).
I have advanced training in helping couples with destructive patterns, past trauma, affairs/infidelity, and sex/intimacy issues. As an active research therapist, I've been trained in Gottman Marathon Therapy (three-day intensive couples work) and The Gottman Love Lab. Processing family of origin issues individually or as a couple is also part of my work.
Since my background includes a strong grounding in fitness, wellness, and the mind/body connection, I take a holistic approach to health and happiness.
