A successful therapy experience is two-sided: a high level of motivation and commitment on your part, along with my experience, expertise and support. My clients tend to be ready and willing to take deep dives inward to explore themselves. Examining perspectives can lead to deeper understanding and thus allow you to make the shifts you desire in all areas of your life, including your relationships. As life is a series of relationships, the relationship between therapist and client(s) is one that can be a springboard for growth.
While my education and training were rooted in the family systems approach, my experience and continued thirst for new modalities has helped my approach evolve into an eclectic client-centered perspective. Therapy with me will most certainly not follow a script as I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I treat individuals and couples.
I believe my most powerful work has been with individuals and relational partners who are feeling “stuck” in patterns that no longer serve them and are deeply motivated to create lasting change in their lives.
