Hi, I'm Lisa. Welcome! My name is Lisa Schulman-Dick. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Los Angeles. I've been working in private practice for the past 4 years. I have, however, been working in the mental health field for over 20 years. I work with adults, parents, and individuals experiencing difficulties with transitions at all ages and stages of life. My approach to therapy is collaborative with a person-centered, humanistic focus. Together, we will work on goals that are important to you.
I work with adult clients struggling with life transitions, relationships, parenting, and aging and the issues that arise from these challenges, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and boundary setting.
In working together, I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment with a calm, empathic, and open approach that I hope will allow you to feel safe in exploring the difficult issues that have brought you into therapy.
