Hello, and welcome!
Thank you for taking the first step to learn more about my practice.
If you love someone who struggles with substance use—or if addiction in your family has shaped your current relationships and sense of self—I am here to help. You may have tried support groups or other forms of therapy and still feel like you’re missing practical guidance, clear information, or tools that truly fit your situation. Friends and family often want to help, but they may not fully understand what you’re going through, or may offer advice that doesn’t feel helpful.
I work with those impacted by a loved one’s substance use, whether that impact is current or rooted in the past. Using evidence-based approaches and a compassionate, nonjudgmental lens, we will work on practical skills such as effective communication, setting healthy boundaries, and responding in ways that support both you and your loved one.
As a therapist, I am open, honest, interactive, and supportive. In addition to my professional training, I bring personal understanding as a family member who has also been affected by addiction. I hold hope even in the darkest of places and deeply respect the courage it takes to seek support.
