My name is Lisa Rorvig, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, licensed to practice in Minnesota and North Dakota. My commitment to my clients is for them to feel seen, heard, and accepted while identifying and working to solve those issues that are causing them pain. My approach to therapy is person-centered, which simply means that I help you take responsibility for your life and work with you to find a solution(s) to the issue(s) you are struggling with.
I work to create an environment that is safe and inviting, both emotionally and physically. My style is direct and straight-forward, and I am not afraid to challenge my clients, though always with kindness and compassion.
My approach to setting goals is to work with the client to identify what issues they want to work on in therapy. If the client has a number of goals, then we will rank them in order of importance.
