I currently offer Telehealth ONLY ( online therapy-phone /video) . I am able to treat a variety of issues including : academic stress, young adult issues, addiction, anxiety, grief, life transitions, PTSD, relationship struggles, communication, sadness, depression, self harm, self esteem and trauma. I specialize in trauma and anxiety using the therapeutic method EMDR. Trauma responses include: increased anxiety, hyper-vigilance, anger, sadness, denial, and increased substance use. My philosophy is to provide a plan that is unique, individualized, and includes collaborative learning experiences.
I am a Certified EMDRIA trained EMDR therapist with extensive experience and am also a Clinical Trauma Specialist . Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety.
During the pandemic I've practiced EMDR through Telehealth for the majority of my clients and they have found it to be just as effective as in person sessions. I offer both evening and weekend hours.
