I believe that therapy is a collaborative process. Each person comes in with their own unique life story, strengths, barriers, and goals. It is my role to create a nonjudgmental and safe environment to explore what will be helpful for each person. My practice focuses on helping people develop a more mindful, intentional, and compassionate way of living, and increase a healthier connection with oneself and others. Areas of focus include anxiety, stress, women's health, highly sensitive, eating disorders, aging, life transitions, relationship struggles, parenting, depression, pregnancy & postpartum, and grief & loss.
I draw from my experience of having worked in all levels of care and different treatment settings. I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and completed the Family Based Treatment certification. I have training in CBT, CPT, DBT, ACT, and EMDR. My therapy is strongly informed by Mindfulness and Self-Compassion.
I bring to therapy specific tools and knowledge, informed through current research, training, and 25+ years of experience. I believe the therapeutic connection is key and therapy consists of change and acceptance. I hope to have the opportunity to work alongside you to help you meet your unique goals. I welcome you to call for a free phone consultation.
