People come to me for support with worries, mood difficulties, adjustment to life changes, identity exploration or relationship issues, and to learn ways to both change and adapt. Whatever brings you to this process at this time, it’s important that you find someone you can develop a sense of safety and trust with in order to bring your full, authentic self to the work. The therapeutic connection is a huge part of successful therapy, so my work is first and foremost relational in nature, through which I help you define your goals and together develop a plan to meet them.
I help people manage anxiety, mood disorders, changes in developmental stages, family dynamics and general stress management. I use a variety of methods including CBT, supportive listening, goal setting, problem solving, mindfulness, metaphor, humor, and play, with a focus on developmental and attachment needs, using a trauma informed lens.
