I would like to begin by saying thank you for taking the time to invest in yourself and review my profile. I am excited to begin your journey of growth and recovery in all areas of your life along with you. I am passionate about working with adolescents, teens, and adults who are hoping to overcome trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, addictions, self-harm, grief, mood disorders, and anyone who is struggling with domestic violence or abuse. I will work alongside of you from a client-centered approach to assist in identifying your individual needs and goals in a therapeutic setting. I now have two locations for in person sessions.
My areas of specialty include trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, skills training, and mindfulness. I believe that within ourselves, we have the ability to overcome our struggles and develop to our full potential. I am an advocate of self-care and I like to incorporate occasional exercises to assist in growth in between sessions.
Awareness is the first step in changing the way that we feel and behave. Once we become aware of the circumstances, we have the ability to do something differently.
