I practice with a generalist approach, meeting clients where they are at, guiding them to where they want to be, while taking into consideration the person as a whole (physical and mental being). Treatment goals are determined by the client. I will be respectful in applying treatment interventions, most commonly using CBT, Mindfulness, Solution focused.
My goal is for my clients to end their sessions feeling understood, validated, and hopeful, recognizing that together we can explore and identify areas in need of growth, and develop plans for change to reach the level of growth a client is seeking to improve their quality of life.
