Hello, and thanks for visiting my web page! Therapy is about helping you become the person you want to be. The focus and goals of therapy depend on where you are feeling stuck or dissatisfied in your life. I am an "eclectic" therapist, which means that I draw from many different perspectives as I learn about you and help you implement the changes you'd like to make. If you'd like to talk to me more about working together, please give me a call or contact me through email.
In my practice, I provide individual therapy for adults and older teens, and specialize in helping people recover from depression, anxiety (panic, OCD, chronic worrying), and eating disorders. I do psycho-educational testing for ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning disabilities, as well as for private school and gifted program admission. In my practice,
I provide pro bono (free) PTSD evaluations for returning veterans through Give An Hour (www.giveanhour.org). I also oversee a tutoring and reading remediation program, Thinking Cap Tutoring (www.ThinkingCapTutoring.com) for kids, teens, and adults with dyslexia and other learning disabilities.
