As an autistic adult diagnosed later in life, my passion is supporting autistic people across the lifespan in living their best quality of life. My understanding is rooted in lived experience and empathy. I understand the systemic, social, and sensory challenges autistic people face.
My approach centers the strengths, interests, and perspectives of autistic people, using these as a foundation to support personal growth, meaningful relationships, and improved quality of life.
I have two master's degrees. One is social work and one in education. I am a subject matter expert in supporting autistic people in crisis and suicide prevention.
I was a teacher for most of my adult life and am very familiar with the challenges autistic children face in education from kindergarten to college.
As someone who’s also autistic and diagnosed in adulthood, I know how challenging it can be to navigate a world that wasn’t built with us in mind. You’re not alone.
