I see you over there, checking me out. Hi! My name is Lisa. My passion for helping people kicked into high gear after experiencing Alzheimer’s of a grandparent and meeting families with ill children when volunteering at Children’s Hospital of L.A. We all need a little help now and then and nobody should feel ashamed to ask for it. I love meeting clients’ “furry children” since pets are a wonderful emotional support – I have two. I enjoy sweets (guilty pleasure – we all have one), I believe in self-care (yoga, meditation, walks outside and playing music) and love comedy since laughter helps!
I feel most effective with clients experiencing complex trauma or PTSD, as well as self-esteem challenges and anxiety/depression. I enjoy working with the LGBTQI community, Latinx population, people in the arts/entertainment industry, parents, young women (including adolescents), and mid-life women going through life transitions, infertility issues, or DV.
