I am currently accepting adult, individual clients in PA, TX, NM, and ND for telehealth only. I am a licensed clinical social worker with nearly 20 years of working directly with clients in a variety of treatment settings. I tend to be a "jump right in"/very direct type of therapist and I mostly use Solution Focused and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) methods in my practice. As a social worker, I also utilize a client-centered, person-in-environment approach. I am a generalist therapist and my primary specialties are depression/mood disorders, anxiety, relationship dynamics, co-dependency tendencies, grief, and life stressors/transitions. Please note, due to the limitations of telehealth, I am limited in my ability to complete paperwork related to court, workplace, legal, living situation, or similar needs.
As a social worker, I also believe environment and identity are important factors in who we are, what we struggle with, and the opportunities and roadblocks we might face. I seek to be inclusive in my therapeutic approach and respectful of how individual and societal elements affect a person's treatment needs and goals.
