About
I enjoy working with children, teenagers, young adults, and adults. My extensive experiences include working in public schools and community settings to support children academically, emotionally, and socially. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor that has vastly worked with girls to create safe spaces to be heard, grow, develop healthy communication skills, to create tools to manage conflicts, and to be secure in developing a healthy sense of self and identity. Secondly, I have a passion for helping children and adolescents going through changes in their life that could be caused from situations of loss and divorce.
I employ a blend of therapeutic treatments for my clients, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Reality Based Therapy, and various psycho-educational programming. I offer an authentic approach, where my client's are heard through validation and compassion.
I understand that life is challenging and everyone needs to feel validated and supported for personal, social, and professional growth. I will create a safe and authentic space for your to shed your stresses, burdens, and to refill your mind, heart, and spirit. It would be an honor to walk with you in your journey!
