I work with individuals, couples and/or families who are ready and willing to invest in themselves and learn helpful and life changing strategies to become the person they are longing to be! My clients value learning and are looking for tools to diminish the effects of trauma, hurt and pain in their every day lives. Their goals include healthier ways of coping and managing their lives, becoming more authentic, clear and strong core values and healthy, satisfying relationships, built on trust and commitment.
I am a Certified Trauma Therapist. I help clients deal with past and present trauma. Using EMDR, trauma can become much less sensitive and can have little to no impact on day to day living. All trauma is upsetting and can be life altering. However, using EMDR, one can greatly decrease the triggers associated with the trauma and become freed up to live again
I have been greatly blessed to do the work that I so very much believe in. As a trauma survivor myself, I can attest to the power of healing through trusting relationships between the client and the Counselor. Using EMDR only expedites healing and greatly reduces the symptoms of PTSD. I offer safety, expertise, wisdom and a very open and giving heart.
