I specifically treat survivors of trauma through EMDR (Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing). I find it to be almost magical in the way it clears the brain of negative or maladaptive thoughts stored there. It is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences.
