I am Lisa Maddox, a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern with a background in education, working with kids and families since 2006 and in the counseling field since 2020. I am passionate about helping people process and work through grief and major life changes. I believe it takes a village to help a family prosper, and I enjoy working with all parts of the family unit—whether kids, adolescents, parents, couples, or through family therapy—to help them grow and thrive.
I completed my Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology and my Master of Science (MS) in Mental Health Counseling at Jacksonville University. After working as a public high school teacher for 15 years, I am now ready to “teach” you and your family the tools and skills needed to succeed in your unique situation.
