Lisa Pope is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 30 years of experience providing effective, quality counseling services for individuals, couples and families. Using a CBT/DBT skills based approach to treatment, Lisa TEACHES clients how to decrease their symptoms, restore balance and improve the overall quality of life! "My vision as a counselor is to teach clients the coping skills they need in order to be more effective in their day to day lives."
Lisa has training in the treatment of Eating Disorders, having worked on eating disorders units at Pittsburgh hospitals including COPE at WPIC and Saint Francis Hospital. She also treats depression, anxiety and suicide survivor grief. Additionally, Lisa brings in life experiences that only a "seasoned" therapist can offer.
Therapy With A Heart is a unique counseling practice designed to put the client at ease in an atmosphere that is warm, comfortable and inviting.
