I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, behavioral problems, and social concerns. I use a cognitive-behavioral treatment approach, with family and school consultation as important components of the treatment. Consultation with physicians, psychiatrists, and other treatment providers is also welcomed. I believe in using a collaborative problem-solving approach in which we work as a team to develop an intervention plan.
I also offer psychological evaluations of cognitive, educational, and social/emotional functioning. Evaluations can be helpful for admission to private schools, identification of learning or processing disorders, diagnosis of ADHD, as part of an application for standardized test accommodations, or to gather more information about emotional functioning.
