I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, behavioral problems, and social or family concerns. I use a cognitive-behavioral treatment approach, with family, school, and psychiatry consultation as important components of the treatment. I believe in using a collaborative problem-solving approach in which we work as a team to develop an intervention plan.
I also offer Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and the Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders (UP) to autistic adults as part of a research study. I am happy to offer these evidence-based treatment programs to any clients who are interested.
