I specialize in working with adults and adolescents who may be struggling with questions about relationships, families, boundaries, academics, anxiety, depression, self-identity and/or self-esteem. I am also certified to treat clients with substance abuse issues and addiction. My clients receive quality care in a comfortable environment with a holistic approach to wellness. My goal is to provide a caring, motivating environment where clients feel safe to explore a myriad of issues. As a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked as a Student Assistance Coordinator/Anti-Bullying Specialist for over 25 years in a school district, I provide unique insight/expertise regarding school law, policy, and IEP/504 eligibility.
Since my focus is adolescents and adults, I work collaboratively with several counselors who specialize in young children and facilitate groups to provide a wraparound approach to treating the family unit. I will also coordinate post high school planning for students who need additional support for essay writing, resume building and the application process.
