My name is Lisa Moreau, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and I am based in St.Louis MO providing telehealth therapy. My primary modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Grief and Loss and Trauma Informed. My therapeutic approach can be described as holistic and working with the authentic self through healing and growing while creating awareness during the process. I walk along the side of customers by using a person-centered approach to help evoke moments of self-realizations and actualizations to dig into the core self.
My style and approach has worked well with the adult population who are experiencing life transitions, such as the following but not limited to medical illnesses, divorce, grief and loss and career changes. I've also worked with teenagers who are wanting to further develop in their life skills.
My communication style is easy and relaxing, which is intended to make a safe and comfortable environment. I believe in having all people show up as their authentic selves to help build confidence and feel as though you have connected with your true self. Vulnerability is the key to healing.
