About
I have been working with children and adolescents for over 20 years, specializing in anxiety, ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, and other areas of difficulty that children experience. There are many reasons a family seeks services for their child, and it is important for the family to feel that the therapist understands them, their child, and the needs of the family. I seek to gain this understanding, recognizing the fact that all children and families are unique, and that each individual has strengths to draw from to overcome the identified concerns.
When evaluating an individual, my goal is to identify the strengths an individual has to minimize the impact of processing concerns. Within the therapeutic relationship, I create a joint partnership between myself and all family members, and strive to help children, parents, and families develop stronger relationships and communication patterns.
I conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and targeted evaluations, have a DIR certification, and experience working with broad range of concerns that children and adolescents experience.
