As an Asian, Christian mom of two kids, living with ADHD from Northern VA I have experienced life in both the big cities and small suburbs. I’ve navigated the challenging expectations stemming from diverse cultural, generational, and societal influences which taught me that being confined by limiting beliefs and labels can create a narrative that leads to distress and isolation. I believe that curiosity, compassion and creativity with a bit of humor in a safe space foster both acceptance and commitment toward meaningful growth. My natural passions led me to using observation, learning from failure, and using imagery for healing.
I work with children, youth and adults struggling with issues like depression, anxiety, neurodivergence, life transitions, multicultural challenges, PTSD, relational difficulties, self-esteem, and identity. My goal is to help you move past obstacles and tap into a broader capacity for hope, peace, purpose, and joy.
My approaches to therapy include art therapy, psychoeducation, person-centered, CBT faith, strengths-based, compassion focused, & solution focused. The journey toward self-discovery can take many forms. With authenticity, creativity, and a safe space for introspection, I’ll guide, walk alongside, or support you from behind as we navigate the path together.
