I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 40 years of experience and work with adults 21 and older. I work primarily with individuals I tend to be eclectic in my style and tailor it according to the individual and their specific circumstances. I work with a variety of issues, including grief, depression, anxiety and stress, self esteem and self compassion enhancement. I also address relationship concerns, relapse prevention, and work with family members coping with loved ones who have Alzheimer's/dementia and substance abuse disorders.
My primary interests are grief and loss, depression management, and anxiety management. I incorporate a variety of modalities including cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, mindfulness, IFS, and systems theory.
I am a directive and active therapist and encourage self responsibility in my clients. I also respect and value self determination in my clients. Clients are seen by appointment only.
