People coming to therapy are carrying their own strengths and solutions. It's an honor to partner with clients who are open to doing the hard work and trusting me to guide them through their process. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches, delivered in a gentle, warm, and focused manner.
I specialize in anticipatory grief, loss, and bereavement. My most fulfilling work has been spent with families who have children facing life-limiting illnesses. I work with clients walking very painful journeys. In the midst, we strive find ways to live lives with value, meaning, beauty, and authenticity.
Research shows that the single most important indicator in the effectiveness of therapy is the quality of the therapist/client relationship. Engaging in a strong therapeutic alliance is my favorite thing about this work. I want to know you well and only then, create a plan that will help move you where you want to go.
