I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from the University of North Texas. I have specialized coursework in play therapy, sand-tray therapy, and extensive work in college counseling. I work with individual children, adolescents, and adults.
I place a high value on establishing a therapeutic relationship by providing an accepting and non-judgmental environment. This relationship is as an essential component of healing and self-discovery. I provide a safe space with genuine warmth and empathy to allow my clients to improve self-image, reduce shame, increase confidence, and reduce negative beliefs
I use a combination of person-centered, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and solution-focused therapy to help guide clients through a collaborative therapeutic experience. I focus on my client’s strengths and life goals. I believe we can make positive changes in perspective and behavior at any point to create a healthier, more fulfilling life.
