I have vast experience working with adolescents, teens, and young adults.
I am trained in DBT therapy, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy, from a person-centered approach, adapting the science of therapy to each individual, knowing not every coping skill will work for every person. It's important for individuals to feel comfortable with their treatment plan and feel it is useful and accessible in daily life.
When working with clients, I enjoy utilizing mindfulness techniques, as well as encouraging creativity through art and play. I work with clients who have experienced trauma, self-injurious behaviors, life changes, and depression while providing an empathetic, understanding listening ear. I offer in person office appointments as well as tele-health visits.
