The parts of ourselves that we struggle with are sometimes our greatest assets. Therapy can be a place to better realize our strengths and identify where long-term narratives and behaviors are no longer serving us. I am passionate about working with people on areas such as OCD, anxiety, trauma, adoption, gender, and relationships including romantic and parental. Oftentimes religion/spirituality and sex/sexuality, come up in my work. My therapeutic approach incorporates both systemic and relational pieces. We do not exist in a vacuum. All of our experiences shape the person we are today

My interventions are focused on gaining skills and insight into oneself. Many of the people I work with are wanting a deeper understanding of themselves, their family history, and their present life, along with skills to manage stress. Listening, validation, curiosity, appropriate challenging, and accountability are markers of my work.
