If you are experiencing emotional pain from a past or current relationship, I provide a supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere in which you can gain insight and feel empowered to make positive life changes. As a Clinical Psychologist with over 30 years experience, I specialize in addressing a variety of relationship problems. In individual or couples therapy, we will explore ways of thinking and patterns of interaction that are no longer working for you. Therapy aims to promote healing and growth for individuals, and to enhance communication, connection and trust within one's relationships.

For individual therapy, I integrate Cognitive-Behavioral, Mindfulness and Psychodynamic approaches. Together we can explore how past experiences have impacted your current relationships and your feelings about yourself. As an individual therapist, I also support people through difficult life transitions, grief and loss.

For couples therapy, I tailor intervention to the couple's specific difficulties and draw upon Gottman research findings. I have extensive experience working with pre-marital issues, infidelity and communication problems. Although I am based in Maryland, I am authorized to see patients through telemedicine in PSYPACT participating states.
