My approach combines Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with compassion practices rooted in Buddhist psychology.
I've practiced as a clinical social worker for 12 years, and believe this work requires ongoing learning to grow and adapt to the needs of each person.
For some clients, we go deeper to move past the places where you may be stuck and interrupt painful relational patterns. I integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR ) and parts work to accompany you on this path.
My aim is to provide open, nonjudgmental support to help you connect with your strengths and purpose, and ease pain, shame, and isolation.
I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship while understanding that our collective well-being is tied to social justice and systemic change.
