Lisa Finlay
Psychologist, PhD
My priority is to help clients lead a valued, fulfilling life. I work well with individuals who are dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and major life decisions or transitions. Through my work with an organization that provides psychological support to aid workers based in countries all around the world, I became accustomed to providing consultation services through online platforms. If you want to start therapy but prefer to avoid traffic and parking hassles, my practice is exclusively online: I use a secure, video-based platform that you can access from a webpage from the comfort of your home.
My approach to therapy is integrative, meaning that I utilize techniques from several theories about how people change. I also incorporate wisdom from other disciplines, to the extent this is relevant for you. I believe that literature, philosophy, cultural values, and spiritual practices are profoundly important for personal growth.
I place great value on the initial consultation, which is free and without obligation, as a chance to get to know one another and help to determine the best approach for you. Please email me with any questions, or to set up an appointment.
