I believe everyone deserves and is within reach of a fulfilling life, both individually and in relationship to others. That is why I love working with both individuals and couples. What stands in the way may be external or internal and usually both. It may show up as anxiety, depression, grief/loss, relationship issues, distorted sense of self, and questioning of one’s purpose in this world. I became a therapist to help others navigate these obstacles and realize a healthy, authentic life with a sense of hope for today and tomorrow.
In my work with adults of all ages and couples, I have seen how therapy can open doors and change lives. I practice a holistic, person-centered approach to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship that aligns with each client’s specific needs. I use techniques from psychodynamic, CBT, EMDR, existential and other therapies as needed.
My work as a therapist and decades of life experiences have given me a profound sense of curiosity and respect for both the uniqueness and similarities of each person I meet. I consider our work together an opportunity to move forward in a way that creates a positive impact on the world starting with our small piece of it.
