I am Lisa D'Antonio, a Certified Clinical Social Worker. I have been practicing therapy for over ten years and I love to empower clients to accomplish goals that are important to them. I have worked in outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization settings and can assist families in navigating the mental health system. I have a strong passion for women's issues, specifically Eating Disorders and Postpartum Depression. I have extensive experience working with both of these illnesses. I am aligned with the Heathy At Every Size (HAES) framework and support the Intuitive Eating guiding principles.
In addition to my experience with Eating Disorders and Postpartum Depression, I also have experience working with conditions such as Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, and Substance Abuse. I can see clients for individual, family, or couples therapy sessions.
I do not subscribe to only one therapeutic model; rather, I prefer to use a variety of techniques. Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy are some of the models that I typically use but we would work together to find the one that best suits you.
