About
In my counseling practice you will feel warmly welcomed and accepted. I create a safe, non-judging environment. It is from this place of deep acceptance that the counseling proceeds, guided by your unique self and therapies chosen specifically for you. I find that hope, healing and healthier living occur as the counseling process unfolds. Counseling for me is a calling and I am honored to journey with you.
I specialize in deep work with girls and women struggling with trauma, addiction, life transitions, relationships, eating issues, anxiety, and depression, as well as work with couples. Additionally, I have a master's degree in child/human development and have worked with parents and families for over 25 years.
I am also a wife (of 32 years), mother, and former executive director. In each of these areas I have experienced joy and heartache. This life experience informs my work with knowledge and compassion for your struggles. I am deeply committed to you and our work together.
