I am a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in treating individuals, couples, and families. I accept each individual without judgement while providing an environment of warmth, positive regard, acceptance, and compassion. I find that most individuals who are seeking help are stuck in some way, and hence, are experiencing anxiety and/or depressive symptoms. My goal is to assist the client by problem solving together in order to get back on the right track in attaining peace and understanding.
Areas in which I have a particular interest are: Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions, Divorce, Grief, Parenting Concerns, and Conflict Resolution and Communication For Couples. I also teach Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills for Problem Solving.
My goal is to provide a safe and healing environment, with the highest degree of confidentiality, and to explore together the client's concerns. My personal goal as the therapist is for the client to experience a sense of renewed hope and meaning for the future.
