Knowing how or even where to begin self-reflection and growth can feel daunting. A feeling of safety alongside active engagement are essential to begin the process. I believe that feeling seen, heard, and known can open up a space to develop and effect necessary changes in your life. Deep work, exploration, and drawing connections can lead to insight and new ways of thinking, changed feelings, and changed behaviors allowing you to exist more freely.
I bring a style that is present, warm, and flexible. I have been told that my empathy and humor are core parts of the way I work. I place emphasis on the connections between early development and the issues impacting the here and now. Often people who see me are struggling with depression, relationships, trauma, or generally feeling stuck or dissatisfied.
I am a psychotherapist and psychoanalyst, as well as a Teaching Associate in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, where I teach and supervise at Cambridge Health Alliance. I currently see adults, adolescents, and couples in my practice.
