About
I'm thinking you are one of those brave, motivated sorts. Ya, you. Brave for refusing to ignore the pain that makes getting through the day so difficult. Strong for wanting change enough to work for it. Motivated for seeking help. I provide therapy for the motivated - because taking action heals! Over the past 25 years, I've provided mental health interventions to thousands of people in crisis, the first 20 years in an Emergency Room Setting as a Psychiatric Social Worker, now heading into the fifth year as a trauma therapist. Change is real. And it's what therapy is all about.
Walk/Talk, EMDR, and office work, I also offer Kayaking Intensives - I treat struggling marriages and stuck individuals. Depression and anxiety, grief, trauma, PTSD, obesity, first responders - you are not a diagnosis. You are a person of dignity with your own history and goals. Your story I view as Holy - your value beyond measure.
Welcoming, interactive, an hour to be known. Simple daily actions that heal. Though another person's "issues" may be hurting you, a reminder that healing spreads like dandelion seeds. "Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it." -- Helen Keller
