I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). It is my honor to walk through each of my clients' journeys with them as they heal, find themselves, refine themselves, and/or begin to live their authentic selves. My approach to therapy is eclectic as I believe not just one approach works for everyone. My first approach to therapy is person-centered to meet you where you are at and what you need. I utilize an emotion-focused approach and psychoeducation to help you begin to process emotions that you've found too hard to do on your own.
Healthy emotional processing combined with healthy cognitive processing will help to relieve the hurt and pain you've been feeling (and likely trying to avoid). I also am trained in EMDR to help reprocess the trauma you've been through and redefine yourself despite the trauma you've endured.
I work with adults (18+) and of all genders. My focus is mainly on adults who struggle with trauma, depression, bipolar, anxiety, panic, trouble with interpersonal relationships, work stressors, deconstructing from religion, and LGBTQIA+.
