About
Having courage does not mean we are unafraid. Having courage and showing courage mean we face our fears. We are able to say we have fallen, but I will get up. ~Maya Angelou~ As a professional social worker for over 15 years, I have worked with individuals that come from all walks of life. What I have learned is that emotional pain is universal and we don't have to suffer alone or in silence. I believe in the strengths perspective that helps guide people to live a more fulfilling life. When we believe in ourselves great things are possible.
My experience is working with individuals centered around grief, trauma and anxiety. I have worked in the unique field of hospice for 9 years.
I will help you on your journey and not tell you what you must do. What I can tell you is that I will respect you and the healing process. Allow me to walk along side of you and help you achieve your greatest self, despite the hardships that you are facing.
