From the book ADHD 2.0, " If you know who you are, it's easier to like who you are." It takes courage to question yourself and how you've been doing things. My goal is to provide a warm and safe environment where you can comfortably learn about yourself and who you want to be. Who is your ideal adult self? Together, through compassionate listening and validation, we can navigate through difficult times make behavioral changes, challenges unhelpful thoughts and build coping skills. My goal is to provide the support you need to better understand yourself, process difficulties and create your best life.
With a rich background of working with diverse individuals,I bring a multicultural perspective to therapy.I'm dedicated to creating a safe haven to BIPOC & LGBTQ+ communities. As a therapist, my passion began as a school counselor which was part of 17 years working in public education in Austin, San Antonio and UAE.
My approach includes CBT, DBT, Solution–Focused, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR. I believe in providing a supportive environment where we can explore emotions, including joy and humor. Let's work together on your journey to a more fulfilling life!
