Are you an empath or a highly sensitive person who struggles? I work specifically with adults and utilize a spiritual/existential person-centered approach that emphasizes your strengths and helps you to challenge your inhibitory thought processes. I also use an abbreviated version of EMDR, somatic techniques, hypnotherapy, and meditation to help you release stuck energy and calm the nervous system.
Clients would describe my style as warm and authentic, with a well-placed sense of humor. I strive to make you feel seen and understood. I also do therapy in a relaxed "come as you are" kind of way.
I can help you with any number of issues including depression, anxiety, OCD, grief, trauma, codependency, self-criticism, and stress. We can discover your desires and design a plan to build a life of authenticity and joy. I can also help you rebuild your sense of self after grief and loss and/or empower you to step into the most authentic version of you.
Besides being a therapist, educator, and researcher, I have studied spiritual healing, life coaching, hypnotherapy, intuitive methods, meditation, somatic techniques, and trauma therapies.
